Is there any aspect of a Mormon's life that is NOT micro-managed

spaghetti oh Nov. 2013

Just one of those 3am starring at the ceiling thoughts.

There must be some bits of life untouched by the morg (for a TBM), yes?

Speaking of TBM's collectively, I can't think of any.
Certainly individuals determine there are areas of their lives where they just aren't going to allow the church to go, or "rules" that they justify as mere guidelines, etc., but I really can't think of any area of life where the church has not asserted some rule or another.

It indirectly affects the unchecked ones, due to money constraints.

Well done on the list! I do have to say that all the talks on 'gathering to Zion' did tell Mormons to gather to certain locations. Now the counsel is to gather into groups of Mormons and 'enlarge the Stakes of Zion', so most TBMs follow this command by moving into areas with as many Mormons as possible. So, Where to live, check

Whether you (as a child or a teenager), or your offspring (as children or teenagers), can go to ordinary children's and teenage activities and events, while dressed as other ordinary children or ordinary teenagers dress--or NOT.

(Sleepovers...wearing the costume or mask of that person's choice at Halloween or other special events...prom clothes... attire in the family home/yard, or during sports/recreation activities, etc.)

They'll let you choose the color of the tie you wear with your long-sleeved white shirt, if you're a dude. They'll let you choose the color of your ankle-length skirt, if you're a woman.
