LDS prophecy to come true

If Trump is impeached or resigns and Pence and Ryan are also gone if it is determined that the GOP having accepted Russian money, Orrin Hatch could become president as a result of his seniority.

Then the 'constitution hanging by a thread' prophecy could come true

Also, the "Constitution Hanging By a Thread" prophecy and the "White Horse Prophecy" are not precisely the same, also the White Horse also talks about the hanging constitution. The church loves the Hanging prophecy and has disavowed the White Horse.

Since IF (and it's awfully unlikely) all those things happen, they'll happen according to the rules of the constitution, why would the constitution being exercised properly mean it's "hanging by a thread?"

Short answer: it wouldn't. It would mean the republic was operating by its constitutional principles.
