My parents kept my full scriptures (BoM+BoA+DoC, all that jazz). I could take my scriptures from my family but the books mean nothing to me. Siblings like to use it Sundays as backup when forgetting their's at that Institution indoctrination thing.

I ran into sister missionaries at a college, they tried chatting with me so I told them I was LGBT as well as exmo. They claimed the church supports both with open arms. They acted so clueless about the anti-lgbt policies and I noped so hard out of that convo... It's OK to miss what you had, people change. It's not easy to deal with this thing but don't forget you're not any less great or special despite how she's making you feel. You will find friends who really do love and support you for who you are, I promise. All I could do was move on and find new friendships who didn't care about my religious views.
