Just because the temple doesn't make her uncomfortable, it doesn't mean that it won't make other people uncomfortable. I had a good bishop, who was really open about the temple and the ceremony. I personally wasn't freaked out, but I also wouldn't claim that it's not freaky in a way.

My mom always complains that nobody in RS signs up to feed the missionaries. People got annoyed cause some missies were really demanding - they’d request certain meat, they called 30 mins before dinner that one of them was gluten free, they wanted to eat at 5, when people were still gone at work. Brainwashing. Years ago when I lived in Europe, we had church for two hours. Relief society/ priesthood would switch with Sunday school every other week. Two hours was still painful, but much more doable. After the first hour you knew you only had an hour to go.
