Damn Boner, that first part with the family is exactly like how I grew up, especially the family scorn and boring clean-cut look. Problem with me being born in the church, imagine being told you're going to be a baby machine the moment you get married in the tetemple. That a woman would rather die then to be deflowered before that "holy matrimony," either from her choice or from bei

If I ever have a child through IF, it'd be my only child. I am not ready for one yet and I'm 25. From an old Church movie "The Single's Ward", there is a line which I find hilarious "If you're 25, and unmarried (in th church), you're a menace to society." I am gay AND unmarried

I notice female missies tend to ve sweeter and more understanding. I had two knock on my door and they left very nicely without incident... The church has them right where they want them!

That is exactly the same metaphor my mom has given me many times. I plan to use a good comeback like "I didn't want the baby anyway."

I may be going to hell for being gay but my soon-to-be wife will be with me. I said I was going to hell and she replied with "take me with you!" So yeah, it's a pain in the ass when TCC family members remind you how evil you are being.

Not to be a downer, but my parents are in a MLS relationship and both are stibutmiserable. I feel if you're not going to live with someone and you're married, just divorce. Yeah it will be hard, especially with kids, but having your father not living in the same house and is still married to mom sucks the perverbial b@lls.

That is just sickening. If my.mother or grandmother did that (I have a very antigay grandpa and grandma on both sides of family)I wouldn't be able to forgive them. You don't do that on anyone's wedding day.

I seem to get people (especially on Youtube) wanting to "reclaim" me for another religion. I had this random guy post on one of my rant videos (about an MLM I joined and left), practically passive-agressivly telling me I NEED to go and check out these (stolen) videos on Muslim Islam because I would be foolish otherwise not to look at them and joined. He thought he was helping, when

I have moved in the same city over and over again that my old records are who knows where? I had a smooth leave of the church - probably because those that knew me are in old wards. I kwpt to myself at church anyway and didn't make any real friends anyways.

Thankfully, tank tops don't count. In 100° whether I can't help but wonder if others are jealous of me wearing a tank and flaunting it. That or they're judging because I am wearing "Satan's clothes."

Jesus that's creepy. I have a crease around my neck but it's not from garments.

I am not sorry, but the only thing I can think of being a "mormon look" are those hideous Lularoe clothes. They SCREAM "Hey, I'm a Mormon brand!" But yeah, there is a certain look due to the damn garments.

*raises hand* I was diagnosed twice with being on the autism spectrum. I had many signs growing up - but it being the 90's, or my parent's lack of taking the kids to the doctors, I wasn't diagnosed properly until I was 18 - a legal adult. I was homeschooled and even that was hard. I can say one thing, a lot of those with Aspergers take shit seriously, and our minds are very impressionable.

Your first bullet of your father not treating adult daughters like adults is the same for me - only it's that way with my mother. When I still lived with her I still felt like a kid, and still do sometimes. It's like some parents can't stand to see their kids are actually growing up. P.S. I haven't lived with her for three years now.

My father has one foot out the door of the church. I kind of want him to tell me his super amazing new temple name now.

I never wore the religious G's due to getting out fast. I am glad I didn't go through the endowment sessions. I hear they're boring as hell.

I hate those crappy adjustable CTR rings that were so cheaply made. The teachers always passed them out in Sunday school but I always lost mine on purpose.

Pics of Ol' Joe Smith is a major trigger for me. I used to look up to the dead man and thought him saintly. Boy was my mindset far from the truth!
