I have no info on what a normal time frame is for selection. If Monson is truly incapacitated , does that play into selection or do they go ahead without his input? Could they possibly be waiting for Monson to pass so Nelson (I believe is next in line for prophet) could choose?

My grandson this past year. He was adamant against it, but the ward kept sending missionaries and guilt until my kids gave in ;but my grandson allowed it only in secret to get them to leave him alone.
