I'm not too sure about that. The church likes to have an order to how things go. It would seem like we need to make contact with the Quakers on the moon and the people that Brigham said live on the sun. First things first.

They'd have to be opposed to going to Mars first, for some reason that allows them to hate a minority group or demonize sex or something and then spend millions of dollars advertising their opposition. Then in an embarrassing reversal, they'll be in favor of it and deny they were ever opposed to it. Then they'll go there and build a McTemple at the top of Olympus Mons.

That does it. Gonna have to buy a lottery ticket and win enough money to buy passage to Mars for all the TBMs that want to go.
