LDS apps for kids

I stumbled across this app for kids:

I laughed and laughed - the opening graphic features Ammon with a sheep in one hand and a metal sword in the other.

It would almost be worth paying for the app to leave comments about non-existence of sheep and metal swords in pre-columbian America.

Other LDS apps include a story narrated by Monson. I listened to the sample narration. I suspect auto-tune has been used to give TSM a lot more animation than one normally hears over the pulpit. Glurge!

Now that the prophet has broken into the app market, the apostles and GAs won't be too far behind.

What would be a great app idea for BKP?

I am thinking of writing an "anti" mormon app though it may not be for kids. Maybe we could rebrand the video game "Custer's Revenge" into Joseph Smith's Polygamy.

I agree though these things are really lame...

my (as yet) unpatented idea for a kids app for the Morg

I set a webcam up against a freshly painted wall

the app connects to the internet periodically and the app downloads a snapshot of the wall until the paint dries

this is to help kids develop a tolerance for sitting in sacrament meetings
