Had to shovel by hand some two yards of dirt yesterday. It was 98 degrees (F.) (forecast is 103 today). Iced tea was the perfect refresher, and my only regret was that I ran out and had to go to water. Mormons are sure missing the boat by not drinking iced tea. It would probably make them less dickish if they did.

(When I lived in Italy, the branch president and EQ president spoke many times about how the members needed to quit drinking peach and lemon flavored iced tea; apparently many believed that it was okay because it was flavored. They knew what was right.)

I'm drinking an iced tea as I read this. We made up a big pitcher before bed last night of the Lipton cold brew. I have a ton of other ones to try but yesterday was so warm I didn't even feel like heating water. The cold brew is pretty good - I'm glad I tried it.

I love drinking an Arnold Palmer. It tastes so good.

I'm making some raspberry sun tea today. :)

I've got to get my sun-tea jar out, if I still have it from last year. Having kids sentences my things to awfully short life spans. The tea jar could easily be a cargo compartment in a backyard Starship Enterprise by now.

I bought some powdered Lipton raspberry tea, and threw it out after two batches because it was more like raspberry Kool-Aid and had no perceptible tea flavor.

Today it's supposed to be a hunnert and three--good iced tea weather!

I never buy the powdered stuff. It icks me out haha.

It's a 115 here, perfect for brewing sun tea.
