Hello RHGC.

I see that you have asked a couple of times how I could be an 8th generation mormon when it is only 9 generations back to your mayflower heritage.

I did answer you last night on another post, but thought you might miss it so I put this in as its own post.

I am a descendant from James Allred who was born in 1784 and who joined the church in 1832 at the age of 48. The line of descendants to me were born in these years:

2nd generation - 1806
3rd generation - 1827
4th generation - 1864
5th generation - 1887
6th generation - 1911
7th generation - 1930
8th generation - me

OBTW, we might be related, I also have two mayflower pilgrims in my family history as well.
