I'm noticing a new trend in the community I live in with how Mormon people publicly advertise their Mormonism. Instead of the typical "CTR", "BYU", "BYU-Idaho", "BYU-Hawaii", sticker outlines of how many kids they have, and abbreviated names of where they served their mission, they're now putting up stickers with their full name, including the "Elder" part in front of their name, the dates and how long they served their missions, and a mini-map outline of the state/country they served in.

I know Mormons can be arrogant and vain, but seeing these just makes them even more so.

I live in a city of narcissists :(

I have a few ideas of my own for bumper stickers.

"Joseph's Myth: Do you really believe this stuff??"

"Militant Agnostic. I don't know, and neither do you"

"FAITH: Pretending to believe things you don't know."

Weird. Would not have done that even as a Mormon - too show-offy. Although in fairness, most bumper stickers brag about what you think or what you've accomplished. And those little stick figures on the windows are a lot less annoying since someone explained to me that they actually stand for confirmed kills.

My friend and her husband have a family set of them, their two children, and their dog, but they're all zombies and it says 'We ate your stick figure family.'

Now THAT is funny! I so hate those stick figures. My son has them on his car...only it is a chainsaw-weilding stick figure chasing after the others.

How about a bumper sticker of joseph smith and an outline of all his wives?

My favorite sticker on windows is for the "ass" family. The first names: dumb, nice, smart, wise, lazy, etc.

I also like the dismembered stick figures, with blood, who were attacked by a T-rex.

Quite a few years ago in Salt Lake City I saw a personalized license plate on a Red Chevy Trailblazer:

MR CTR

I was still TBM at the time. DW and I laughed out loud at the stupidity.

You have got to be kidding. I guess I've been away from lala land so long I had no idea the momos there have become such a tribe of narcs.

I like the one of the T-rex eating the fish, as well as the fish with legs.

I had a CTR sticker on my old car. For the longest time, even after I left the church, I couldn't get it off. It had flaked, so all I would get were these little bits and pieces.

I started lying to non-Mormons about what it meant, which is 99+ percent of the world around me. I had a pretty perverted answer, but I can't remember what it was.

My mom has the two parent stick figures and then 7 children figures. It goes along more than half of the back window.

As a single Dad, I was thinking about getting one of me and my son, to send the message that not all families are of the atomic structure.
