He also never has tears. He's a second grade actor who's having problems cramming emotional triggers, guilt, fear and lies into his 15 minute slot.

Seriously, if someone is effected emotionally by what they are saying they need a pause now and again to get it together. They don't turn it off so they can start the next sentence and keep time.

Holland is as fake as the PoGP.

Do they learn this or do corporate psychopaths rise to the top of the CULT?

They're all actors. Really bad boring actors. I would just love for them to be given some truth serum right before their conference talks. I can just hear some of the stuff they would say:

Holland: I really love being adored by all you suckers out there. Just keep paying that tithing so I can enjoy my trips abroad.

Packer: I wait until my wife falls asleep at night and sneak in and look at porn while I masturbate. Oh did I mention it's gay porn? All those wonderful little factories.

Monson: Hello? is this thing on? Hello? is anybody out there?

Bednard: Anyone seen my pickle? (looks down) Oh there you are?

The recurring theme of a GA's Gen. Conf. messages is what they struggle with. So told me a general authority I personally know. Hence, Kimball was gay as a Maypole, Packer a wanker, Holland a closet doubter, Bednar and HOaks NAZI wannabes, and Monson a cougar-widow boy toy.

On a more serious note, I think they all really enjoy being Mormon royalty. I'm not sure to what extent they actually believe what they preach as far as gospel principle: charity, homophobia, obedience, elitism. I think they do believe in many of those. As to the source of their authority, I think they know the church is a complete fraud.

How they rose to their current ranks. Breeding, many are family members of previous high ranking officials, and opportunity. Small stake areas in some places in the world offer men the chance to rise through the ranks faster.

Being given a million dollars when you become an apostle is a great motivator to continue the delusion... That's just a rumor, but it wouldn't surprise me if it were true.

Holland might be a weak link. He's starting to crack under the weight of his own lies.

He's getting desperate.

Monsoon - "I have become comfortably numb." Pink Floyd
The GAs probably think Pink Floyd is a gay porn star anyway.

Holland's face certainly looks like he's cracking.

I wonder what the 15 sound like in private? Do they talk ghetto? Do they whisper to each other and try to outdo the quivering voices? Or do they yell? I would love to be a fly on the wall

I can't bear to watch weeping Mormon men, because they trigger flashbacks to my manipulative, abusive ex-husband. He could turn the crying on and off at will. Usually, the tears came after he had beaten me: "I will never do that again. I love you. I need you. I'll kill myself if you leave me. Bla-bla"

I have acted in plays, and I can cry real tears, but there are some people who can't produce wet tears. Any idiot can do the quivery voice.

BTW, I think the GA's get a hefty stock package. My GA relative had Standard Oil, Sinclair (used to be another name), Amalgamated Sugar, Zion's Bank, ZCMI, and some others.

they def get something. My former bff was a GA's daughter-in-law. She didn't personally get much from him at all, but she told me about what he used to get for free and it was a pretty sweet deal

OMG...this really sounds like an medieval kingdom where the king distributes the wealth, and all filthy peasants are worthless, expendable low-lives.
