OT- anyone compost tea bags? I have been opening them up and throwing away string and bag.

Has anyone seen tea bags reduced to soil in compost, or does the string etc persist?

Just throw the wet tea leaves into the compost, not the bag and string. (n/t)

I compost both bag and tea

I rip an opening in the bag to "let the little beasties in" to do they work. My bags have no string.

It works. I've been doing it for 10 years and have excellent results.
