NBC's 'Rock Center with Brian Williams' tonight (Thurs) with Mormon in America subject. They seem to have bought into tscc fastest growing line. From my little reading that is not true. Any stats?
We no longer have a functioning 4th estate. They are bought-and-paid-for, corporate-whore, lazy mouthpieces for the highest bidder. There isn't a single person on television right now that calls themselves a "reporter" that Edward R. Murrow wouldn't slap the @#$%& out of continuously.

I disagree. Ben Swann of WXIX Fox 19 in Cincinnati is a reporter who delights in calling out the bullspit that wouldn't get a second glance from most reporters. I actually believe the guy has integrity, believe it or not.
The JW's started a short while after Mormonism and they had about a milion more members at last count. That would obviously make them growing at a faster rate than Mormons.
Scientology also calls themselves the fastest growing religion in the world. LDS Inc should take a look at their bedfellows in this claim.
The total membership seems stuck around 14 million world-wide; no info on how many of those are truly active. In the US it seems to stay around 6 million. Judging by this and other boards, I'd say it's dropping in America.
