Going to be dwn there tomorrow night (kind of last-minute) and have a decent layover. Any good tips? Love beachside tiki bars and local seafood joints, etc. Certainly not opposed to meeting for a drink if you're in the very near vicinity. Let me know! Thanks :)

I rarely get out that far west. Stay away from downtown Pensacola, I've heard second hand that they've let it go to crap, but anyplace near the beach should be fine.

Also, Pensacola used to be called the mother-in-law of Naval Aviation, as anyone who wanted to be a naval pilot back in the Second World War days normally ended up with a mother in law from there after leaving the duty station. The local girls love fly boys, and the naval Aviation community still has a big foot print there. You might try near the base if those are your kind of people.
