Isn't it odd that grown men are claiming they saw "God" and "Jesus" in the "temple"?

Even assuming these two characters exist, in order for that to happen, that would mean that Jesus' Second Coming has already occurred, because he would have had to, you know, come to earth to go to the temple.

Of course, it doesn't truly matter, because it's all secrets, lies and fiction, but food for thought, no?

Well, he's supposed to return in "clouds of glory" but apparently he also pops into the temple from time to time without the clouds. Mitt should use this as an advantage over Obama. He should tell the voters that if he has to make a real tough decision, he'll go to the temple and wait for JC to pop in. Then he can get direct advice from the Lord himself. What other president could offer that?

candianfriend - nice, that made me laugh. It's funny because a hallmark of the church used to be that "we have a direct conduit to god and receive revelation constantly".

The church has backed away from that significantly (at least in public) because it's embarrassing and it's easy to pick apart. It sounds like any other kook who says those kind of things. However, if Mitt did have a sack, he would use that line. Problem is, there's only about 6M members in the U.S and he's already got their vote. The rest of the country would laugh out loud in unison.

President Mitt: - Good news everybody, I've received important revelation from god today.

CNN: That's great, there are so many problems in the world today, we could really use some divine help in solving them. Please, what did he say, we need to get word out immediately!

President Mitt: Young People, stop masturbating! Also, "Tebow, you have a good heart, and your actions with the poor around the world are commendable, but you are doomed to hell if you don't receive your temple endowments!

Gordo told David Ransom, "...we don't need a lot of continuing revelation," and went on to describe how it comes in the form of the "whisperings of a still, small voice."

According to Gordo, only the voice of Jesus comes, not the dude himself. Maybe the guys claiming they get an actual visit ought to read this:

They are either crazy and really listen to the voices in their heads or they should be put in jail for deception.

Jebus came, Jebus saw, Jebus took the first interstellar transport the hell back where he came from.
