Recently I read that Mitt Romney is very unhappy with Russia. Some people, such as Colin Powell, can't seem to understand why this is so and why Mitt would want to pick a fight with Russia.

I can't help but wonder if it has to do with Russia's attitude toward mormon missionaries and the LDS church. Apparently missionaries have been pulled out of parts of Russia because they had to renew their visa's every 3 months. I also read that Russia would not let them buy land and build buildings.

What do you think, would Romney let a small thing like this affect the US's foreign policy with Russia?

Isn't the U.S., in general, unhappy with Russia? I think both parties are unhappy with many aspects of Russia's policy making and lack of cooperation with the U.S. As much as I do not like Romney, I do not think is unique to him.

Romney is taking this position with Russia as he is being told to do by power brokers in the field of international strategy. This group is primarily led by Briezinski, and the policy is laid out in his book," the Grand chessboard',( or something to that affect), anyway -- think tanks here in the U.S. want to weaken Russia by drawing them into regional conflicts or, dream of all dreams, to have China and Russia become enemies and never strenghten their ecomonomic ties.

A long boring reply I know, but the short version is that Romney doesn't actually think anything. He is told what to say by his handlers from around the world and from the banks that he works for.

I actually met ZBig at BYU of all places. I was naive in those days knowing little about the guy. He's a globalist shill who helped David Rockefeller set up the Trilateral Commission because the Bilderberg Group in Europe didn't want Asians in their group and Rockefeller was smart enough to see that was where the future opportunity was.

The thing is I would say the Russians and the Chinese are smarter than these western globalists. Putin gave them the boot and China is out manuvering them on the global scale. North America and Europe are where the trouble is, the rest of the world looks better. I just got back from South America and the place looks better than I have ever seen it. You have the BRICS alliance between Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. I would say the old Brenton Woods financial system has some competition. It seems like failed bankers in the west are just trying to take over nations with force and still the citizens with their losses. I think this will fail.

I doubt ZBig will see China and Russia become enemies anytime soon.

I think Mitt feigns hatred because the idiots of America still dislike them. To be popular in this land that my mother's family has lived in for 400 years, you have to appeal to some stupid f*****g people.

I have a hostility towards Russians, and it has everything to do with my ex-wife being from there. Actually, now that I think about it, my hostility is only with one Russian in particular.

The problem is hardly Russia. The problem for Mormons is Orthodoxy, a nut that's too hard for them to crack. In countries like Russia, Serbia, and Greece, the religion is woven tightly into the fabric of culture and they become one in the same. You can't go in with the American attitude of changing religions as it suits you and expect any kind of positive results. In short, none of them want or easily accept the Mormons.

Mormons want to get their way around the globe but some countries have resisted them. I say good on Russia for saying no to them.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of negatives in Russian society and they need a lot of help and support, as they are under surveillance if they try to speak out against Putin in any way, shape or form, and many have been shot and killed.

I really hope the West can be a support to those seeking freedom in Russia but I don't know if the West can pull it off. I don't think the West wants to make enemies with Russia again.

The Russians kicked the Peace Corps out, too. Accused them of being spies.

I just got back from Shanghai. It's new, it's clean. People are driving new cars. The service in the resturaunts and stores was top notch. I didn't see poor people begging.

I come back to the US and it's a big has been. I think maybe we were successful at spreading our way of life. The Japanese used Demming to build itselt into a financial power house. Everything in China that was modern was western technology.

The problem with the west is we forgot who we are and never applied the great things we developed here. The biggest difference I see is the work ethic and the will to save for the future. Asia isn't doing anything new, they are just applying the work ethic and investing for the future strategy better than we are now.
