So, I've been kind of wondering how this polygamy thing works out...(of course, if you're here, you probably are like me and think it's all a crock)...but supposing you want to pick some brains at the next TBM-sponsored dinner you attend...

If polygamy is indeed the order of heaven, and men can and do have 1000s of wives in the CK...well, there's only one way that's really possible...

In order for each man in the CK to secure at least one wife (and women can't achieve celestial exaltation without a husband), then that would mean that the CK must have a female majority.

What are the church's teachings on this? Is there any doctrine out there that states that more women than men will achieve CK-worthiness? Because seriously...unless sex-selective abortion is practiced in the spirit world, this claim of men having droves of wives just isn't logistically sustainable. Just saying.

Most LDS men are addicted to porn or at least masturbation, right? And more men than women leave the church, so there will be a lot of righteous Daughters in Zion left in the lurch. See, there are ways to explain everything.

Plus, I find that the women are more likely to explain away gender inequalities, than are the men. Talk about Stockholm Syndrome.

Every time you rub one out and those swimmers get flushed down the toilet, the Lord lifts them up to the CK, where they are all made female and available for righteous Mormon brethren to wed and bed.

The LDS population is minute compared with 100 billion or so humans that have existed on the earth. According to the Mormon Church's own teachings on the Celestial Kingdom, the VAST MAJORITY of those in the CK will be those who never even heard the "gospel" in this life. According to LDS teachings, any child who dies before the "age of accountability" are "automatic" heirs to the CK.

If you look at mortality rates over the history of humankind, you will see that there are slightly more males born than females. This is nature's way of balancing out the fact that more males DIE than females.

Infant mortality rates were very high in early human history. Even today, some countries still have high mortality rates. It is estimated that about 9 million children below age 5 die EVERY YEAR. A slight majority of those are MALES. According to the LDS Church's own teachings. ALL OF THEM are automatic heirs to the CK. In other words, more than twice as many children die every year and enter the CK than the ENTIRE ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP OF THE LDS CHURCH.

So, we can conclude several things from these statistics. 1) Most people in the CK will have had very little "experience" of life. Most never lived long on this earth. 2) The majority of those in the CK are male. 3) The majority of those in the CK lived this life as "black skinned" people - which is pretty ironic.

Maybe it's like in Islam, where there are a special type of spiritual being that is all female, black eyed, and eternally virginal. In old Arabic legend, though I am not sure if it is in their holy books, such creatures are where they get their 72 virgins from, and every time you have sex with one, it is magically turned back into a virgin afterwards, because they are so pure.

Gays are actually female, revealed in the afterlife.

Lesbians are cured of their aberrant loathsome perversion.

Since there is no marriage in the Terrestrial kingdom, I'm sure that God will allow his exalted Sons to have their pickin's.
