Well, I made a grand entrance tonight at Petar's by greeting Jerry and Cheryl, and then knocking over her ice water. after that it was smooth sailing!
we had white and red wine ( thanksh Jerry) quesadillas, zucchini strips, calimari bites and a lot of loud cackling from me. well I did polish off three fourths of the white wine.
topics of conversation included health care in all its forms pilots and soaring, child raising, Mormon mass exit, Cher's tweet ( sweet )librarians and lack of funding, giving children free agency, drugs, Buddhism and self publishing memoirs. side issues were the outlawing of foi GRAS and high cost of everything.
question -if you do not want to pay taxes, then where are our highways, airports and medical services to come from?
anyway, that was just my impression of the evening, as I had to leave to catch public transit.
I met the star celebrities of the board so hail Sheryl, Jerry and Anagrammy!
hoping to see others next month at the S.F. ferry building.
cheers, Librarian, trying to sober up

It was great fun, as usual, hearing great stories from wine-stained lips all around.

I never knew Jerry's logon name of aspoustate meant he was a nevermo, the spouse of an apostate!

LOL - great to meet librarian in person and I'm looking forward to reading her stuff.

We sorely missed some of our regulars who were in Europe (oh, boo-hoo).

show up July 24th at the Hotel Utah Saloon in San Francisco.
Then we gave five points of fellowship and went home. Or was it six points? I'm not clear about these things, being a nevermo.

One of these days I'll have to get there. I no longer live in the Bay Area, but I spent my teens in the Sunset Ward.
