Church claims 14 million members.
Attending members is actually 5 million.

That makes at the very least 9 million exmos.
We out number them.

Money talks. The only True Blue Mormons on this planet are the ones who are willing to hand over 10 per cent of their hard earned money. That is the sign of a truly devout (brainwashed) member. Anyone out there have a number for that?

I don't have a number for the count of full tithe payers, however I can officially announce that as of late 2011, SLC is short at least one formerly gross tithe paying family.


Mr. and Mrs. Southern ExMo are proud to announce that they have not paid a single dime of money to TSCC since last autumn.


Mr. and Mrs. Southern ExMo furthermore proclaim that they will never again donate a single penny to the City Creek Mall, the large and spacious conference center, the holy hunting preserves, or any other "worthy" charity of TSCC.


So, whatever the official count of TBM, full tithe paying families might be, you can subtract 1 from that number, because we ain't paying up any more!

I think of the tithe payers in my family, and I want to throw up.

Parents, and 4 out of 7 siblings are paying a full tithe.

As far as I know 20 of my 26 nieces and nephews pay.

I'm sure my 5 living aunts and uncles pay.

Most of their 38 children are TBM and probably paying.

So I'm guessing that about 60 of my living relatives are paying.

I can't make myself add up the inlaws, their parents, their kids.

I have my work cut out for me.

The commonly recited number in LDS circles (no idea if it is right or not) is that only approx 30% of members pay tithing. By that assumption 4.2 million pay their tithing. Thanks to southern exmo, that number is a resounding 4199999 paying members.

I guess 30% attend meetings worldwide, less than that pay some tithing, even less pay a full tithe. Those that pay in full have recommends. 20%???

I venture to guess, maybe 3mil "investors".

My friend's uncle's cousin knows a mathematician ... and I'll have to let you know whether I approve of the message because the soup is boiling over, the smoke alarm keeps misfiring and there's no lentils in the house.
