If I had an E-book, I would so download that. How does the author make money if it is a free book, and if she is not making money, do the rules about self promoting still apply?
I can't believe she wasn't creeped out enough to quit Mormonism and BYU law school as soon as her prof proposed she become his polygamous wife! That is an exception rather than a rule down there.
I went to BYU and although there were a few creepy ultra TBM guys I met, none of them were my profs. I had mostly very decent profs, all kind and helpful. One of the guys I met who wanted me to go out with him did take Mormonism so seriously he went off the deep end with doing his own Book of Mormon study sessions and he talked about polygamy being divine etc. I dropped him instantly.
But I do know the feeling of being raised Mormon and feeling like you should stick with it, even when there are many uncomfortable moments and it defies logic!
Just finished reading it! Outstanding! Although I had to pay for the Kindle download - missed out on the freebie but it was well worth it.
The author devotes the first half of the book to her life....career, education, life in the church, marriages and exit from TSCC. In the second half she gets to the FRAUD......very well written.
