1. Bishops that gave horrible council on problems they did not understand (had no training or expertise in)

2. Holier than thou SP--some of which never smiled

3. Members that had absolutely no idea of mormon history

4. Testimonies that were based on personal revelation. In fact, some people had life changing revelation experiences on a monthly basis

5. Members that thought the world was always against the church. Everyone persecutes the church.

6. So many that had no common sense about things

7. Those that gave lessons on the evils of coffee

8. Those that gossip and gossip and gossip

9. Those that think Bishops cannot mislead members

10. Those that did not care about people but numbers (HT, VT, etc)

Mia, I am sure there are many dozens of reasons to not be a mormon but (for whatever reason) these things bothered the hell out of me

Fast and Testimonkey meetings....oh the stories people told. So stupid and full of faith promoting lies. So happy I don't have to listen to that sh*t anymore.

Claiming that intelligence is "truth and light," yet proclaiming that intellectuals are TSCC's greatest enemy.

I wish some of us could have sat together at F&T meeting and had some fun.

Word of Wisdom lessons that turned into discussions about athletes.

Word of wisdom lessons that had no wisdom in them.

Gospel doctine classes that rotated each year for four years and then reapeted the same lessons agian. No creativity no expansion of knowledge just the same old stuff. After about 3 times through each year lessons were so booring I was about to stick my finger down my throat to throw up so I could leave class.
Heaven help anyone who didn't have the right answer to the questions the teacher asked.
