Oh My Lanta!!!

Mormon co-worker expressing surprise over something at work responds "Oh, Mylanta!!"

Mylanta? Really? Is this the new Oh My Heck? I giggled to myself as I walked away. Does she know Mylanta is an antacid?

Of course, she does. She is just mimicking something she heard, like a parrot.

Otherwise, you could speculate that it's a contraction of "Oh, My Atlanta..."

Which makes it more like baby babbling.

"Oh My Heck" is definitely due for an overhaul, however, and I have been wondering when it's successor would appear.

A friend of mine used to say it all the time. I think it was common on 90's sitcoms. I think I heard it on Full House.

I was talking with a TBM friend of mine and he asked me something and I responded with "No, thank the fcuk Christ!".

That was one of the best jaw dropping faces I've seen.
