3. No one here defriends me for saying I'm a democrat
4. My sister can't come here and tell my mom what I write
5. No annoying game request for games I've never played
6. People here may not like what you say but they will still respect your views

8. People don't passive aggressively carry over fights from real life to the Internet.
9. No 800000000000 pics of people's kids. We get it. You love your kid. To me, it's a baby. Put them up. Don't news feed them to the whole world.

I personally find most of Facebook to be horrifyingly egotistical.
A soap box with a display case. Sounds innocuous enough, but in the wrong hands....it can open a lot of wounds.


On the other hand, I find RFM to be full of brainy, introspective talented writers who make me laugh and make me cry as they display with panache the smorgasbord of ridiculousness that is the TSCC. It goes a long way to heal wounds.

On facebook I look like me.

On Facebook you bite your tongue when a TBM posts a lame GA quote. On RFM you say what you really think about it.

On Facebook you know everyone's birthday, on RFM you have no clue.

Rfm is completely non-discriminatory.

You could weigh 1,000 pounds and not have left your bed for three years and your opinion is taken for it's value, not for who it came from.

You can be in your jammies or dressed for a photo shoot--doesn't matter.

It's the chance for people to have an even playing field with the advantaged, whether that's by age, sex, race, religion (still Mo/Never Mo/Apostate/Atheist/Christian or ?), where you live or who your ancestors were.

I like the diversity here as well as the level playing field.
