I feel compelled to post this.
My daughter shared with me something that her TBM mother posted on FB. I laughed, but in a "I'm laughing because on one level it's funny but on another level it's actually making my skin crawl" sort of way. Seriously, this kind of thinking just takes my breath away. Wow. And I quote:
"Traveling home. Lunch. Wendy's. Flagstaff AZ. Full restaurant. People watching. Cute young families interacting.
Then young father walks in; clean cut; 3 kids; middle daughter hugs her Daddy and the look of her love for him and his love for her priceless.
He kissed her numerous times before setting her down They just radiated a pure goodness that no other family had and love that was divine.
Mom walks in minutes later. Confirmed. Lines of her temple commitments obvious. Eternal families . . . Beautiful to partake of. . .
It was in their countenances and their actions. So clearly evident to see a love that will last forever. Thanks for that precious moment. So grateful to experience moments like that."
I honestly can't think of anything to say about this, except that I am sorry, yet again, that I raised my children in such an environment. So Glad to be out!!!!!!!!! (and glad that at least ONE of my children found the exit as well)
