Probably yard work. Sounds boring, I know, but I like doing yard work when it's not for someone else.

That's the nice thing about where I live. The houses are all close together, and there is no privacy, but professionals cut our grass, trim our bushes, and rake our leaves. Still would be willing to do this myself, if I could turn the volume all the way up on my TV without wakening my neighbors.

So, I'm off to a Help for Heroes pageant and will take a closer look. Basically, a nice day for sailing too today.

I love my new life without mormon constraints and I'm living it to the full.

Up late Sat. talking and laughing with my son. Neither one of us have to worry about getting up in the morning for church. He is going bicycling, and I am going to get the patio back to normal, after the storm, and make potato salad, hot dogs, stuffed celery, watermelon, and chocolate chip cookies (my family's request). An American Memorial Day meal.

No visits to any graves this year--and I hope I don't feel guilty. I no longer feel that my dead ancestors are watching me. I am trying to weed out the bad memories, and nurture the good ones. Death is a bad thing to focus on. My father and my ex-husband were Veterans, and I raise the flag in their honor.

WTH?! Did they run out of all the good "B" names? Psht. I can't even take a storm seriously with a dufus name like that!

Every beach in North Florida is closed because of the storm. We had a little picnic in a park near the intercoastal waterway instead. Then we got rained on.

The waves actually look pretty fierce out there. My folks live on the beach and they said that lifeguards pulled out 9 people from rip-tides yesterday. (I guess I really don't want my kids swimming in this mess).

So. We went to a couple of big box stores and got hurricane supplies instead. I still say this "Beryl" thing is just a spitball - not a *real* hurricane. But, you never know, even Tropical Storms can knock out the power supply.

Happy Memorial Day everybody! Hope it's sunny where YOU are. Fire up a burger for me.

I just finished cleaning my house (and I mean serious cleaning) so I'm relaxing with one of my excellent Bloody Mary's.

An "Oddities" marathon is on, so BF and I are watching that while I diddle around on the computer. That Ryan sure is a cutie. ;)

Later on, throw some salmon on the grill and catch up on TrueBlood and Big Love episodes.

Nevermo here and I'mnot going to my church today. I need a break. I am cleaning house. Nothing else will make me happy today. This place is a mess. I know it sucks.

Chillin with wifey and the dogs, a little trail-running later on, hangin with a friend at the coffee shop, then tonight hitting the skating rink! I love Sundays!

I go to another church where I can discuss scripture freely and can volunteer but not be "called". And where Christ is preached.

I am usually at that kind of church each Sun. Nice, isn't it??? Today I am playing hookie.

Watching Indy 500

Going out to dinner for hubby's birthday. I have just recently made a friend who bar tends and she has promised to make us something special. =)

Watching Star Trek and cleaning the house. And freezing because it's unusually cold here and I decided to drink Dr. Pepper instead of my usual Sunday morning coffee.

Resting. I have MRSA in my finger that hurts like hell and is slowly clearing up with antibiotics.

I keep hearing about MRSA lately. It's so scary! I had to be tested a few weeks ago to see if I had it and was terrified.

Hope you heal ok and if you are concerned about any scarring, Mederma works great.

Thanks for the tip. I don't expect scarring if it keeps shrinking the way it has, but I'm about out of the strong antibiotic pills. I need to see of they'll give me more.

And to think it all started from a hangnail !

TBM wifey asked me if I'd like the elders to come over and bless my finger better. Um, no.

Been there, done that, got the scars to prove it. It's not fun and the antibiotics make you feel sick. Be patient and you'll feel better soon.

I woulda gone back to the trap shoot I was at yesterday, but it's cold, raining and trying to snow so I'm just takin' it easy in my Lazy Boy and watchin' the Indy 500....and I'll probably have ca beer or 3 later...

Well, almost everyone is at Family Camp this weekend so church was operating on a skeleton crew. The A and B teams were gone, so that left the C team. I was asked to help with Communion, and I am happy to report, nothing got dropped or spilled.

Now I am in my swimming suit and plan to spend the rest of the day pool side.

had some Starbucks. I'm watching Braveheart until I go watch the coca cola 600 with some family.

Went to non denominational church, or as I like to call it Sunday jam session! The band is awesome.

Tonight looking forward to HBO lineup: Game of Thrones, Veep and Girls.

Working (at work) because I was so f-ing depressed on Thursday and Friday that I didn't get my work done and I have deadlines this week.

I went to sacrament meeting at my mom's church. My mom was giving a talk on service. I forget how loud it is in there with all the kids. I think maybe five people were actually paying attention. I saw people in there playing with their iPad.

Now I'm drinking my coffee.

Slept in. Went to yoga. Ate brunch at the little cafe down the road and now taking a long nap. After that, homemade sushi, wine, and samba night at the bar. How different from my past life...

Repaired a friend's garden solar lights, sat in the sun with some beers.

Later I met my wife from work (she pulled a couple of very lucrative extra shifts this weekend) and we had a Chinese takeaway meal.

Resting up after returning home from my new weekend pad in the big city (just a studio to use on breaks and stuff). I think it was officially Sunday before I finished engaging in emphatically consensual acts of sodomy with a very cute guy.

This morning, I took all my beer and wine bottles to a charity bottle drive. Quite a sight to see 5 months worth of empties. O.o

Walked a beach, visited my mommy, forced myself to go clothes shopping (ugh!) and I'm now home, recovering.

Packing and getting the new house painted. I'm soooooooo sick of painting. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to prime everything and then another 2 coats.

I'm a hamster on a wheel of painting the same thing over and over...lol

I absolutely love painting houses. I wish I could do it for a living. I love color and the instant gratification of making something beautiful again. I wish we lived near you so I could come help you guys finish up.

Went to see Men in Black III. Although it wasn't as funny as going to church, it took less time and the food was better.

Spent the day with TBM family. Tonight I'm unwinding alone and sipping margaritas.
