The last couple of months I've occassionally read mormon related articles in the DesNews. I've noticed that the "comment sections" often only has two, three or no reader comments attached to them.

However, I've also notice when they have several reader comments that quite a few are critical of the "Pro-Mormon" article. Often, these comments are well reasoned, articulate and quite damning to mormonism. Has the earth stopped spinning on its axis?

I can't help but want to give TSCC credit for this balanced approach. However, knowing how the church has been very "censored driven" in the past I can't help but wonder if something sinister is going on.

Question: Why the balanced approach? Has the earth actually stopped spinning on its axis?

..that they don't have the staff to monitor the stories like they used to - they let go many people last year. I know I've gone back to stories a few days later where some of the comments have been removed, but it seems to take longer now.

Do you think that these not-so-mormony comments are coming from non-mormons? I would imagine that giving callings to a few folks to write less glowing comments is a great way to give the appearance of tolerating outsiders' points of view.

Or, maybe a few of those who were not laid off have decided to let a few slip through for ratings which = sales/jobs.
