Does having sex on First Date foreshadow the relationship?

is it 'good' or bad? Does it lead to greater appreciation for each other or not? IOW, if one (or Both) of the ppl is looking for a LTR, should they wait for intercourse?

If I were to err, I'd say prolly best to wait (too much focus, possible to get involved emotionally too much/too soon);

I think it depends on the couple involved. Some look at as part of the date,,some look at is as rushing things. Been there and done that,,learned best to do a lot of talking and set the rules.

I think you should determine early on (way before the clothes start coming off) what having sex would mean to both parties. Nothing? Everything? Something else? That would apply whether it's the first date or not. Don't assume anything.

I've seem it work fine both ways, and not work at all by having sex on the first date. I think it depends mostly on the couple, and also on if a pregnancy occurs. I know that doesn't really answer your question, but if your asking for advice I say wait. Unless of course you want to just have a one night stand, not a relationship.

It depends also on how long you've known eachother.
