Almost laughed out loud when he said it. I asked him if he knew how many interviews Wallace did during his career? Trying not to be snarky and elude to the fact that they may not have got around to it...yet.

Trying to be polite - but, not sure how much I can take! :)

When I read that he had passed, I wondered how long mormons would start in on that.

But that made me think. If God is who they think he is, and if the "prophet" was indeed God's only Prophet on this earth who has a direct conduit to afore mentioned God.......Don't you think THAT interview would be IMPORTANT?

TBMs think the world revolves around them.

Tell him that our country has four hundred million people, counting non-citizen aliens. Tell him that there are only four million active Mormons world wide. That means less then one in every hundred people could give two, you know whats, about GBH.

That question is along the same lines that my DH & DS asked me on Easter. They wondered aloud (sarcastically) why Monson wasn't giving a world wide Easter message like the Pope was. My son said, I thought you said that 12 yo boys have more power in their baby finger than the pope, yet the so called mormon leader doesn't have a message to the world? It was pretty funny.

Mormons in Utah think there religion is so much more important than it is. I guess when you are raised Mormon and raised around Mormons you are going to believe that. I heard it all. I heard once how mormons should push for Mr Hinckley to be president of the US because since he got direct revelation from God, there was no way he would make a mistake.

When I was very young I thought that it would've been so much better for our family to be in Utah (born there or moved there) because it was full of people with the same beliefs. I found it hard to 'live like a mormon' in a place where we were the only ones.
Now I'm so thankful that I was not born there ;-)
