Several of my old TBM friends have posted a picture of a living cell stating if scientists found a living cell on some distant planet the scientists would say they have found new life. But when they see a cell in a pregnant woman they won't admit it's a life. The apostles have lead the way - start bashing science! sheeple I so want to post have they found life on Kolob? Oh I am showing such reserve!

It's evidence of life, but not evidence of humans. Are bacteria holy?

These people kill millions of cells on their own body everyday when they wash their hands. Women's bodies kill cells in their womb every month. Men's kill millions of cells everytime they have sex.

I think scientists believe an embryo is life. The question is whether it is a human being who has equal rights with the mother. Besides, scientists do not all have the same position on abortion. Geesh. You might ask these TBMs if they eat meat. That beef or chicken used to be alive too and was a much more complex creature than an embryo. Since the respect life so much, they might want to consider that.

jI've seen that too. I showed a little reserve, but asked one of my friends what scientist argues that a cell in a pregnant woman said it wasn't life, and pointed out that without science, they wouldn't have any clue about cells, they would still think because they were good god gave them a child. I couldn't resist pointing out scientists would let it be and see how it developes and evolves, while religion would go teach it about their false god and brainwash it to think like they wanted it to. I have not received any response, perhaps it was a bit harsh for their anemic reason.
