For years, I could expect at least 5 calls on Conference weekend. It was obvious to me that I was right in the front of the mind of certain friends and family members while some old man spoke of bringing lost sheep back or forgiving those who drink coffee.

This last session, I realized Conference snuck up on me. Not one call.

Should I be offended? Am I a lost cause? Have I so vehemently shared my views, that I am no longer worth the phone call?

Either way, I tried to leave the church alone. Then, the stinking facebook posts came rolling in:

"I'm so grateful for conference weekend!"
"McKay just said the cutest thing about Elder Uchtdorf!"
"On the couch in my sweats, waiting to hear God's word for me!"

"Did you see Elder Archuleta? He's such a great example! I hope Becca marries him when he returns with honor, so she can be married to a closeted robot, just like me!"

That's it. I'm calling my mom and telling her I'm going back to church. But I am not shaving my beard.
