The BBC special mentions that he never uses the "M" word. Unlike other candidates, he also never darkens the door of his "M" religion. Wonder what ward he's in.
He did this summer when he was living in San Diego. He has a home and vacations here. His kids still go regular. I am sure that the campaign routine prevents him from taking a break. Tons of travel.
They probably send the deacons over to his house on Sunday to do the whole sacrament thing, like they do the sick people. Either that or he's had the second anointing and it he doesn't have to think about any of that stuff anymore.
Many candidates visit various churches in the course of a campaign. I wonder if he will. Sometimes cameras are allowed in the church. I wonder if an LDS service will be one of these.
The answer is, yes! And in further response to other comments, deacons don't go to people's homes and do the sacrament thing and there is no such thing as a second anointing. This is nothing more than gum-flapping clap-trap by uninformed people who know little or nothing about the LDS religion let alone Mitt Romney. Comments like that are intended more to degrade and inflame than inform.
Huh? I have seen the deacons take sacrament to people...some people even tried to burst in on my own mother when she was in ICU in a Utah County hospital...I was furious!
