Maybe the South Park folks have
that head-in-the-hat cartoon copyrighted.

It looks like the MormonLeaks folks
included at least one head-in-the hat,
in Episode #1, #slide-39

Cool. Nothing about the head in the hat on slides 20 and 21 though of the "main" story about the BOM translation at Mormonleaks. Wonder why?

More news (posted this yesterday in similar topic) . . .

I stumbled across http://Mormonleaks.com a few months ago before the domain became active. It's created by a fellow exmo, Craig Criddle. If the name sounds familiar, that's because he helped complete the 2008 Stanford word study of the BOM that showed Spalding, Rigdon, and Cowdery's fingerprints all over its authorship:

http://solomonspalding.com/Lib/Jock2008.htm

I've traded a few emails with Criddle since early last month. Here's some more info from him:

"Over the next 8 months or so we'll be releasing a series of episodes on the origins of Mormon scripture. The resulting narrative is a synthesis of historical data and new text analyses. The goal is to provide a compelling naturalistic explanation for the Mormon canon (Book of Mormon, Book of Moses, Pearl of Great Price, Doctrine & Covenants).

We also hope to have a way to gather and release insider hidden documents. But we still need to figure out how to do that while confirming identities of contributors and protecting their anonymity. . .

In two weeks, we'll post Episode 2 which tells the Spalding story. I think that's when things will get really interesting.

Much of this is a synthesis from existing source materials, but we also plan to release a lot of new information, especially in Episode 5. . ."

So Mormonleaks.com is also a shout-out to any disgruntled COB workers. Care to take a peek in the FP vault and send back a few copies of things? The website has a submission form, and welcomes your input!
