Last week, I met this guy in his office and told him I did NOT like him asking my DS questions about masturbation, that it was MY BUSINESS to educate him about sexuality. Also, my DD is entering YW soon and I also informed him AGAIN that I'll be at every interview he will have with her. He took this well and said he was glad I let him know my preferences.

Well, tonight he called and is coming over soon with his family. It is my birthday so maybe that's it. I dunno. but at least it's on my turf and I can call the shots.

Just for the fun of it, I'm going to leave out my copy of Grant Palmer's "Mormon Origins" out and see if he notices, bwaa haa haa. LOL.

Is it just me, or do mormons often seem to take what a person says reasonably and without drama, then come back with a crashing blow later?

I think they must be taught somehow to hold in their immediate reactions.

That's certainly been my experience at times.

It is still YOUR home, and he ain't the boss of it, tho he might act like he thinks he is.

IMO, if he is bringing over his family that's pretty non-threatenig. Likely he's impressed with you and respects you for standing up for your kids.

yea the bishop popped over with his wife and SEVEN KIDS with a birthday cake for me complete with lit candles. I even blew them out, then invited them in. Nope they didn't enter.

however, yes, a week ago, I did have a talk with this leader that HE WILL NOT ASK MY SON ANYMORE QUESTIONS ABOUT MASTURBATION OR ELSE HE'LL REALLY HEAR IT FROM ME!!!!! He was surprised but thanked me for letting me know how I felt. Now let's hope the guy will actually do this!
