My TBM parent's ward is doing it tonight. As usual the members have to bring the food!! This time is it's something to do with baked beans!!

I would go but I'm tried from a long day at work and want to spend some time online, spend some time with my bassett hound Sophie and watch more of the cult TV series from the 1980's "Friday the 13th: The Series"(currently I'm watching season 2 ).

Did anyone here attend your wards Valentine Day celebrations? If so how was it? What the food like? Was anyone happy to be there or did it seem like a chore to be there?

Baked beans ... always good for augmenting a loving atmosphere.

so if the ward had a Valentines Day celebration I wouldn't know of it.
I'd hate to go to it, since it would be so 'couple' orientated.

I did realize this year the last time I had anything for Valentines day was about 1999.

So I bought a nice bouquet of flowers and a VERY BIG heart shape balloon. It is so nice to come home to a cheerful big balloon floating serenely in my living room! And it is Mine! Not a birthday balloon for one of the kids, but it was for me!

Learning to be nice to your self.... that is a growing experience after living under tyranny for so long!

Reminds me of an awesome Mr. Bean scene where he writes a birthday card for himself...
