Today some chickie came to my site asking why I spend so much time spreading negativity about the church (I share news links on Facebook). Normally I delete such crap right away but today I though I'd have a little fun.

It's weird for me to scour the internet looking for bad news about the church.

Since I left the church, I should let it go and move on.

What am I trying to accomplish?

Why not write in a diary rather than on the internet?

And then she says she's not a Mormon. Roughly half of her 300 Facebook pals are, and in the same age-group as her.

What say ye?

She is probably lying. I have noticed that mormons do this a lot in the comments section of articles as well. I think they think it gives them more credibility, "I'm not mormon but I think mormons are the nicest, smartest and most attractive people in the world and since I am not mormon you can't think I have an ulterior motive."

I read the comments section in my paper, and a lot of them do that here too. Nobody is ever fooled.

One actually came back and admitted he was a mo after some ganged up on him and said by denying the church he was an apostate, and that he was supposed to stand for something not hide behind a lie, and a bunch of other stuff along those lines.

Pfew, for a minute there, I doubted myself :-) Did I mention that several TBM joined in to gang up on me?

I'm still open to the possibility that she's just married to an ueber-righteous TBM though, or that she's one of those who became "inactive" during her teens and is now slowly moving back towards the church as she moves on 30.

Anyway, as of tomorrow, I shall revert to my policy of deleting personal comments, stabs or attacks.

Who's pulling a similar stunt (claims not to be a "traditional believer"). Might even be a whole floor on one of the dorms down at BYU for all I know... Could even be a woman because I don't know many men who could handle the kung fu cajone shots I dish out when I'm riled...

Lyin' for the Lard or cognitive dissonance? Your call...

It does throw one off of one's feed; hang in there... The truth is not within them.

Why would she/he be concerned about what someone else shares on the Internet?

<HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!>

That deafening laughter you hear is the chorus of exmos responding to that B.S.!

Since I live in the DC area, the Mittster has put this stuff in front of my face more than I'm used to (at least in my exmo life).

I need somewhere to vent. Reasons may vary, but the board is here.
