The educated, proper type English accent. Don't care for Cockney or the like.

I'm like Jaime Curtis in "A Fish Called Wanda." Give me any foreign accent and I'm hot and bothered.

English and Scandinavian. With the English accent I've been finding Benedict Cumberbatch's accent drool worthy as is the man himself.

I have no idea who this is. Off to Google!

Edit to add: Yup, she's gorgeous and her son bares a striking resemblance.

You have a You Tube video of a North Dakota accent? Sounds intriguing!

DUTCH.... no question about it.
a friend of mine moved to the Netherlands and married a dutch girl.
She only has to say 'goede avond' and I'm ready to ....errr... spoil our friendship :-)

if you are asking about 'english' speakers, I love the accent of a woman with a texas twang

Irish, Scottish, Latino (think Caesar, the dog whisperer), English, (but not "Posh" English - more working class).

French as well. Nothing from the US, but then I am from the US so . . . but US dialects are the worst, they annoy me. It's interesting to hear that people from other countries find them appealing though.

I want to hear Dutch now though.

Scottish: Honestly, the Scots really know how to make English sound good. Find a pretty Scots lady speaking it, and... *sighs*

West Indian: Pretty West Indian (Caribbean) accents from the mouths of pretty West Indian women of African descent. It makes me melt.

Indian: There's something about the way Punjabi and Hindi/Urdu has influence the Indian English accent across Hindustan, making it lovely and lyrical. Even better is an Indian English accent spoken by someone who speaks rather posh. Absolutely lovely.

Did you know that white Jamaicans speak in exactly the same way as Black Jamaicans? And you are right!

Welsh. Yep. Or a woman with a Birmingham (England) accent. Oh, God! That does it for me, too!

Brooklynese. What's at the Loeeeze? My uncle still has one those grating Long Island accents.
Nice smooth Southern accents are the best. Almost comforting sometimes.

Sarah Palin has a northern North Dakota accent. Seriously. We are so embarrassed. Wasilla, AK, was settled by people from around here.

This accent made Tina Fey rich and famous. Sarah did pretty good for herself too. Don't misunderestimate us.

I always liked Carl Sagan's accent and/or way of talking. The educated posh accent is also appealing.

The *real* Southern accents, not that Tennessee hillbilly twang.

And British accents everybody??? Really? I can't understand them! If some suave Brit whispered sweet nothings in my ear, I would hear . . . absolutely NOTHING.

;o)

Just kidding. I met a Czech woman in Tahiti years ago who had a beautiful accent. She also had an asshole boyfriend.

My own accent is a mixture of cowboy and Mexican. I get the cowboy from my southern ancestors and the Mexican just rubs off from people you're around.
