lets assume that YHWH exists, why wouldnt he allow himself...

...to be seen by his children?
why the hiding? even if you saw god and knew he existed, you would STILL have to choose to obey him, just like our children see us and we tell them to do things and they dont always do what we want them to do even if we "threaten them" with consequences.

when you think about it, we chose to follow YHWH once already in the pre-existence according to the lds church: the war in heaven. there we saw YHWH and jesus and lucifer and had to choose to follow one of the 2 plans proposed. 1/3 of the hosts of heaven STILL chose lucifer's plan.

A war in heaven... gives ya lots to hope for eh?

The War in heaven is one of the first things that got my spidey sense aroused in the Mo when I was a young boy.
Makes no sense and a loving god would not allow it..
