My fall back position is:
If something good happens - laugh
If something bad happens - laugh
If nothing happens - you're not trying hard enough!

14 lbs of gravitational pressure per square inch the whole time, plus you end up getting shredded? Yeah, you mean the other things, but it's a package deal; the fish goes for the bait and gets the hook.

But my good-news point of view now is, we're are not here, we only dream we are. And that's because, in one way or another, we're all going for some dream bait. But we CAN get lucid and think differently.

Richard, the thread with your post about "no subject/object" is closed, but I wanted to say I agree with you. I also have experienced this state in meditation.

Full stop, no motion of any kind. No subject or object, just a powerful, pervading sense of "astonishment".

Don't know what it means!

We spend our entire lives worrying about what others think about us. We grow older and find out nobody was paying any attention. Do what you want to!

To my job: I don't give a @#$%& about your fu**ing TPS or SalesForce.com reports.

To my wife and kids: I'd give or do anything for them.

To everyone else: I have caller ID for a reason.

Simple and pretty much defines me at the moment.

Live a good life. Only you can decide what that means for you.
If there's a heaven, you'll be OK. If not, you'll have lived a good life.

Life is to be enjoyed.

Walking for 4 and a half hours makes me physically feel better, and I forget my problems, and enjoy friendship with my golf buddies.

Oh yes, another plagiarized verse from the bible found in BoM.

Ecclesiastes 8:15 and 2 Nephi 28:7-9

But of course that just proves that the BoM and bible are right. They go hand in hand. Right?

It's better to be golfing and thinking about church rather than at church and thinking about golfing.

Actually it's better just to be golfing and thinking about golfing.

Feeling a bit down tonight. My point of view is "The Mormon Church caused my daughter to do things in life she never should of done or would have done if she had finished college" and I am P_____!!! She shared with me some of her anxiety today....not that she should not have converted but it is more about her hubby's choice in careers. He is into
the multi-level garbage!! She thinks it is a mess and she is right. She is struggling with thoughts about her future.

Time may not heal all wounds,
but it most certainly wounds all heels.

The best revenge is indeed being happy and living well. If the people who hate us know the memories make us miserable, then it gives them pleasure.

My current POV is looking at gate A24 in the sky harbor airport. If anyone else shares this view point at this same moment in life, please walk over and say "hi" to the tall guy tapping on his cell phone. ... No, the other tall guy.
