First of all, the bulletin boards are not changing. We like them as they are. Nick did a great job volunteering to create these boards for us last year. I can not thank him enough.

The main site and content will be updated with a better look than the manually entered HTML code which is terribly outdated. It will also be able to be updated easier for volunteers to link to stuff in the board or to articles in the site or to external news items. I just don't have the time any more with work and my music. I am averaging 3 gigs per month now and having a blast.

So far $750 has been promised and I am throwing in $200 so we have enough to get started. The web developer is a professional and told me last week that the site was a breath of fresh air for him as he lives near me in the heart of the Bible belt. He has some great ideas and I am excited for him to get started.

I'm excited for the update. What I think this site REALLY needs is a nice javascript or PHP navbar. Something light, text-based and fast. Some CSS to make the tables shaded or something would be nice too.

Whip out our credit cards and find paypal? Send you a money order? Info please. (I know I only promised a little but I keep my promises.) :)

I want to know if I have the right address to send a check- that is, if he wants it sent to wingnet? Not sure if the person he is going to hire is from wingnet.

And WingNet recently moved so I don't think I have the correct physical addy. It is getting late tonight but I will try to call him Tuesday.

The main guy at WingNet is out of town but as soon as he gets back they will set up the paypal and I think they are going to use WNs PO box. Then I think that WN is going to pay the nice new web designer guy. So we just need a couple more days :)

I have GIVEN UP on people saying they will help just to disappear. This guy is a pro, we pay him he will do the job. I hate that I can't find anything over there and um, well I HATE THE COLORS ERIC HAS UP!!!! Small silly thing but hey, I am small and silly :P

Any way to have a profile picture something like Facebook? For those who would rather stay anonymous an avatar could be used.

And the update will have nothing to do with the board at all. And no, no avitars/pics. They slow things down. Boards will stay just how they are.

could you put it as a "temporary sticky" at the top of the board so that we Europeans won't miss it.
