This closing and renovation thing is become more and more prevalent lately.

It apparently will be closed until 2021.

It seems many of the McTemples built around 2000 are getting "renovations" and others renovated in the 90s also getting significant renovations which are so extensive it seems like shoddy materials or workmanship were involved. Of course Utah contractors are involved allowing plenty of LDS, Inc money to flow to favored people. Are these the same contractors that built the shoddy McTemples?
