Here we go again! Another OKC type teardown, likely.

I just wonder what the deal is with making the steeple ten feet higher. That's a pretty specific and seemingly trivial adjustment to make!

"The Raleigh North Carolina Temple is scheduled to close on January 7, 2018, for extensive renovation. During the remodel, crews will upgrade the mechanical and electrical systems, make spaces ADA compliant, move windows and doors to accommodate minor floor plan changes, enclose the entrance canopy, and raise the height of the steeple by 10 feet. The renovation will be followed by a public open house, cultural celebration, and rededication ceremony. During the closure, temple patrons will be accommodated at temples located in neighboring states."

Estimated to be completed in mid-2019

sounds expensive but again, people pay 10 percent of their income. the top 15 laugh all the way to the bank and then to their two houses each. Screaming suckers!!! you all are so stupid to fall for this and hand your money over. the big 15 do anything they want.

Who here heard the story that Brigham Young designed the Salt Lake temple to include elevator shafts, heating and cooling vents and electrical conduits?

But the newer temples were not designed to accommodate people with disabilities? /

ADA does not apply to religious organizations. This explains why the mini temples, built late 1990s onward, did not comply. ADA became effective c. 1992.
