New atheists tend to be radical like Dawkins. Most atheists Iknow, dont care what others belive so.long as they dont force it on others and dont proselytize. One of my dearest atheist friends dislikes Dawkins and Harris as much as I do.
It's not like there's an answer that will be satisfactory.
The whole point is that whatever we answer, Kori will eventually tell us that since we don't agree with his sources, we're all wrong, and didn't we wish we knew what he does.
In his mind it's a worthy goal: Koriyze the Whole World.

The new atheists have chosen instead to worship the great Spaghetti Teapot Monster who has a better temper, goes on less killing sprees, is more likeable, and more likely to answer prayers.
One of the new Atheists, Harris, would regularly complain at the term 'atheist' and would prophesy of likely squabbles over definition and application of the term.
You may have read with interest (or disinterest) the furious jousting recently on this board over a dodgy quote from the apotheotic Sagan and the definition of atheist.
Twas ever thus. Jousting over terms was more furious a hundred years ago. Let's preach the gospel of love, peace, solidarity and smoking the peace pipe.
But my memory is fading with old age, and I've forgotten already the legacy of the last Morg profit.
It's silly to try to sort atheists into different categories. They're not a cohesive group. If several of them want to self identify into some group, that's up to them, but it doesn't affect most other atheists who go about their business and don't bother with it.
