The world lost a great one yesterday

As a former resident of Muscle Shoals, this was sad to hear:

Great post, Norma Rae. I had barely heard of him and then remembered that he was part of a documentary movie called "Muscle Shoals".

I got it from my local library a couple of years ago. I may have to watch it again.

EDIT: I just checked the library and found it on their streaming service, called OVERDRIVE. I'll watch it again that way, won't have to get dressed to go to the library!

I've watched it online. Yes, I really enjoyed it. Of course, here in Memphis there is so much music history. The Stax Museum is incredible for a soul/blues music buff.
