So sang the pop song from the 1950's.
The popular scripture "There is no fear in love. But perfect love casteth out fear," has been a part of my recovery post-Mormonism.
And yet oddly enough it is one of the more popular themes spoken of, written about, and discussed in Mormon literature.
Is it because it serves the Mormon task masters well?
As an ex-Mormon I feel more loved, more accepting and accepted because I don't have as many artificial constraints to rule my life by.
The grace of God is freely given. It isn't something to bargain for. It is a gift of love.
Mormonism is all about works, not grace.
Grace is sublime, like love is. You can't have one without the other.
