That 12 hours later Usatoday, CNN, nor Fox have managed any mention of the dear leaders death.

In important news though Mike Tyson is planning a weed farm. Kinda shows ya where this ranks doesn't it.

announced on the today show. KUTV did go to CBS This Morning at 8 a.m. (as usual) and there was a short announcement on there. Not sure how far into the program as I'm sitting at my computer and can only hear it in the distance.

I did take note that they were lowering the flags here in Utah. Is this really the appropriate use of the flag?

I believe he served in the U.S. military?

Briefly.

"Is this really the appropriate use of the flag?"

I don't know, but that really hit my funny bone hard.

No. Just when a mormon big wig dies in Utah. I remember when Hinkley died, the governor ordered the flag at half staff for 3-4 days.

It was on the bottom-screen crawl (text) on ABC this morning.
No announcer mention though.

It appeared on the "trending" side bar on my Facebook page this morning, about 7am. It's gone now, back to all Trump, all the time.

Nothing on the CNN website all day today - not even buried down at the bottom. Headline news when the Pope has a cold.

You have to go to the obits to find an article on him.

Imagine what French and Japanese newspapers have to say about the Great Prophet.

It was about 30 stories down on the national news page of the Minneapolis paper website. Had to be looking for it to find it. Could not find it on the St Paul paper website anywhere. Of course I was not looking all that hard.

Maybe the next one will get motivated to lead the church in new and exciting directions and make it a real world leader in disease eradication, environmental responsibility, elimination of class and ethnicity barriers, or perhaps finally coming up with the Grand Unified Theory that connects all the fundamental forces of nature.

Maybe he can finally break the suspense and tell us where Zarahemla was.

Or maybe he will continue to let the bishops make scared 12-year-olds feel like sh!t in worthiness interviews.

Which do you suppose God wants out of the list?

I'm taking bets.
