I was just browsing lds bookstore and Deseret for maybe gift ideas for Mormons, but I can't believe the crap that is for sale!! What the hell is a temple clip bracelet?? And the reviews going: ooh it's sooo pretty!! Isn't the temple about equality and humbleness any more?
And then there are charms.. Hold to the rod.. What the hell? Do they really not realize how weird that shit is?? And then there is this!! https://ctrringshop.com/gallifreyan-choose-the-right-ring

They use a made up language from a fantasy TV show to write choose the right????

If it wasn't so sad, it would be funny..

Oh, you forgot about the testimony glove !!!

actually EVERYTHING in MORmONISM is for sale one way or another. MORmONISM'S scam is to peddle whatever kind of fantastic false promise that it takes to keep the sucker MORmON members shelling out. Then the leaders end up with the money and the members end up with the worthless promises. What a deal !!!!

here is how the promise of the MORmON promise land works out !!

temple clip bracelet - I believe that is for hanging onto the name one is representing when going through the temple. The name is printed on a small piece of paper. The clip is a way to hang on to it instead of pinning it on. I could be wrong. It has been nearly 30 years since I have been to the temple.

Customer Review for temple clip bracelet:

What a lovely pearl bracelet for holding the name card of your favorite Holocaust victim while having the sacred ordinances performed for and on their behalf. 5 stars!

"Anne Frank," not only is that delightfully brutal, I LOVE your moniker! Bravo! :+)

I doubt Anne Frank would feel anything but contempt for temple rites for herself or her people.

Becca, I love the title "Crap for Sale!" How cornball and crummy are their wares.

Reminds me of the year a TBM friend told her idiot husband she wanted a pretty necklace for Christmas.

So he went to the church store and she found a cheap little pendant with LDS on it under the tree.

They're divorced now.

A testimony glove makes it possible for the really young ones who can’t even color inside the lines to say their testimony all by themselves so the parents don't have to whisper in their ear or treat them like a ventriloquist dummy. The Glove has photos glued to each finger, so, the child just needs to look first at photo of God on the thumb and say, “I know God lives,” then look at the first finger and say, “I know Jesus is the savior,” and then the middle finger with the photos of Joseph Smith (how appropriate), and say, “I know Joseph smith was a prophet of God,” and then “I know the church is true,” when they look at the Temple on the fourth finger, and finally, “I know that President Monson (or current church president) is a prophet of God.” Little finger for Monson.

Can you say indoctrination, boys and girls?

Thanks for clearing that up for me. Just when I thought I had heard it all. That's stupid as hell. I feel for any poor little child who has parents nuts enough to do something like that to them. There just aren't enough words for me to explain how very wrong this is. I was hoping it would be a joke.

I thought it was a joke at first too. But that is the rote drill they are taught - from age two to 92.

Hey now! that particular saying/ phrase is not found on any finger of the testimony glove, so you probably should not be saying it !!!

When the only sound on the empty street
is the heavy tread of the heavy feet
that belong to a lonesome bishop,
I open shop.
The moon so long has been gazing down
on the local ward of this wayward town
my smile becomes a smirk, I go to work.

Crap for sale
Deseret Book Store Crap for sale
Crap that's tired and oh so spoiled
Crap that is extremely soiled
Crap for sale.

I do believe Mr. Porter would love that--considering the context. I know I did. The soil, the spoil, are a lot more than the obvious smudges.

You got me on that one. Had to look it up.

I enjoyed the fact that this company put the offering for these so-called "CTR rings" for 'klingon' right between 'Japanese' and 'Korean'.

Seagull Book: where MORmONS never pay full price for anything (but they pay FOOL price for everything) and the breathUrine are not having anymore of that.

Some company sold LDS books. I think the policy then was to strengthen ones understanding of the gospel. I do not remember it being a big money making operation. Of course I was young.

I remember very clearly Elder Ballard in General Conference saying we are doing away with Sunday School and Priesthood manuals and using scriptures to help members save money. Next we know we get nothing but crap for sale. It was a year ago I last visited Sheri Dew's company she manages. It was full of everything. I can not image what they have this year and they were pushing people to buy then. Hello Elder Ballard, I see you have your books for sale too. No ethics!! Oh right you sold cars before you got this position.

So sin is BIG Business

Look at the thread on Crap for Sale

Look at the threads on tithing

Look at the threads on families are forever and you need a temple recommend (10% please)

Look at the temple construction gone bad and so they are paying people to repair problems that should have not occurred.

Yes there is money to be made in sin in the Mormon Church.

LDSink will put shit on a shingle and call it a home for a single [member].

LDScriptures are sold for a (prophet's) profit. Talk about a RIP OFF, like everything else lds.
