To all posters: It pays to be ultra cautious with giving out IRL information online, as hopefully we have all heard by now. Please avoid doing so at least on RfM. We also do not allow posters here to give out the personal info of others.

Plenty of posters like to get in touch off the board. That's great. But don't ever give out your phone # or address online and always be aware of just how much potentially identifying information you may inadvertently be giving away.

If you have a dispute with someone (most or all of which will likely be deleted by us - see rule about no fighting allowed) take it off board, as they say, although that is unwise. Better to just let it go. Take a minute to think about how much it matters in the grand scheme - highly likely it's not much.

If you are receiving what you think are threats don't play it out on the board. Contact the relevant authorities. (That's not us). (However, please do report these types of posts to us (using the report button at bottom of every page) so we can delete them.)

A word in general: You may not understand the reasons for some Admin decisions, as CZ has said before. To preserve poster privacy and to keep the board on track with its primary focus - Mormonism - we don't usually discuss behind-the-scenes things on the board. It doesn't mean we're not putting effort into finding the best solutions possible for all parties.
