Did I tell you?

Two missionaries came to visit with me, but they couldn't come into my house, as a am currently a loan-female in my home.

However--never loose faith in miracles for missionaries--as just then my son drove up, and his presence allowed them to enter the house.

Lucky thing, too, as their presence provided my son with muscle-power help, which he needed to move a x-large twin bed into one bedroom, in exchange for a x-large queen bed into the (then) vacant brm.

Expect more visits. Sounds like you wouldn't mind entertaining them and using their strong backs again soon.

The P-day email home will say about their visit with you:

"So then we stopped by less active's house and found her home!! But she was alone, so naturally we couldn't go in, and as we were wondering how to extend an invitation, Tender Mercies!, her son showed up and so we could go in. We could tell they were a bit reluctant, but when my companion (so inspired!) asked if there was anything we could help them with, it turned out that the son needed some furniture moving help. It was a miracle! We could see that his mom was impressed and so we're going to see her later in the day tomorrow, after we wash our garments, go shopping and send out our email. I just know that we will be instruments in the lord's hands in reactivating Sis. Fullips. She is definitely a prospect for reactivation, and you know what they say, "Every time you reactivate a Less Active, there is one less inactive!" Please pray for her!!"

Spot on! I feel like I'm reading the weekly e-mail from a missionary relative I receive each week!

I was hoping to hear about the culture of the country. No, they have to stay inside when there are celebrations.

My grandson seems to be fixated on the insects, arachnids and reptiles he comes across.

I (am) would be too.
Intelligent life... not trying to "convert".

Yeah, me too. And imagining the various parasites I am going to get to wrassle with after I get back to where the water and food doesn't have them.

(I got to visit China once on a Viking River Cruise; our tour escort suggested we not smile in the shower, and definitely don't drink any water anywhere that they didn't give us or authorize us to drink.)
