The number of official resignations along with inactivity rates and lengths. If it is obvious that 75 members in my ward (no names necessary) have not attended any aspect of church nor donated one thin dime in donations for over ten years, wouldn't that imply 75 lost sheep? And I'm not talking about members who moved and left no contact information for the church, just the obvious ones who either formally resigned or left but did not move. This would give a much more accurate picture of tscc.
It would also be telling if we knew just how many tax dollar are lost to state and local governments because LDS, Inc. hides behind its religious tax exempt status. If it looks like a duck and quakes like a duck it should be taxed as a duck.
